Cockwell 37 ‘Ocean Fugue’
In 2008 Cockwells launched the 37ft Wolstenholme designed ‘L2T’, a 24knot strip plank timber/epoxy gentleman’s launch. Four years later her sister ship ‘Ocean Fugue’ was handed over to her proud new owners. The two boats are similar apart from the addition of a bathing platform, through transom cockpit access, and different cockpit layout on the second boat. Hull shape is round bilge semi displacement and power for ‘L2T’ is twin 225hp Volvo D4s and for Ocean Fugue twin Nanni 200hp, both driving through conventional shafts.

Cockwell 33 ‘Impulsive’
In May 2014 the yard delivered the 33ft ‘Impulsive’ to her owner on the Beaulieu River – a single screw smaller sister to the 37s powered by a Yanmar 265hp and capable of 18knots.
Other work for Cockwells includes the Duchy 27 and Duchy 35 motor launches (see Duchy page), and a handful of superyacht tenders (see Cockwell Superyacht Tenders page), plus several speculative preliminary powerboat designs.
